[nwa'zjɛl], Gemeinde im Département Seine-et-Marne, Frankreich, östlich von Paris, 16 500 Einwohner Auf dem Gelände der Schokoladenfabrik Menier wurden um 1876 für die etwa 700 Arbeiter Häuser, Schule und eine Krankenstation errichtet, heute ein einzigartiges Baudenkmal des 19. Jahrhunderts; hier entstand ein Kunst- und Kulturzentrum.
